Earlier in his career, Schonken was a Non-Executive Director at Colcom Holdings Ltd., a major player in Zimbabwe’s meat processing industry.

Simbisa Brands which is part of the Innscor Group has a significant presence across Africa, operating in nine countries, including Zimbabwe, Kenya, Ghana, Mauritius, Zambia, Botswana, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Malawi, Swaziland, and Lesotho.

Simbisa Brands manages a diverse portfolio of well-known quick-service restaurant brands including Chicken Inn, Pizza Inn, Creamy Inn, Baker’s Inn, Fish Inn, and RocoMamas.

Additionally, it operates casual dining options like Nando’s which is available in Zimbabwe only, Ocean Basket, and The Grill Shack.

The company also features delivery services through Dial a Delivery and coffee houses such as Vida e Caffè and Haefelis.
